Dear readers,
Here at The Lead we would like to extend a huge thank you to every one of you. Thank you for reading, sharing and supporting our work. Since launching in 2022, we have been on a mission to create a platform that not only interrogates those with power, but also restores agency to those without it. As well as reflecting the issues that impact our everyday lives, and shining a light on the underreported stories often overlooked by mainstream media, we are also committed to proposing solutions and enacting positive change.
In an era of compounding crises, disinformation, and algorithms that encourage passive doomscrolling to drag us down into the dark, we aim to provide a little hope.
We are on a journey, with the aim of expanding what we cover and pushing our independent journalism to even greater heights. And we want to bring you along with us.
To help our vision become a reality, we will now offer new additional content for paying subscribers. The vast majority of our journalism will always be free, but for those of you who are willing and able to afford a paid subscription, you will now have access to more exclusive content, articles and audio that dig even deeper into the topics you care about the most. And beyond that, you’ll be supporting the sustainability of our platform and our mission.
Spring discount offer
Until the end of April we're giving you the chance to get 30% off monthly and annual plans.
If you sign up now, you’ll pay just £3.49 a month or £34.30 for a year (which equates to £2.85 a month!) But you’ll have to move quickly. This offer is only available until the end of April.
