We were lied to by Farage, Johnson et al, about everything negative associated with being an EU member state. They by rights of their lies, have not been held accountable for the damage they did. But it has exposed the corruption behind the motivation to spread those lies.
They wanted division, to sow the seeds of white nationalism that Farage has espoused continually, stoking racist xenophobia and hatred of different, the Trump method of lying.
Farage and his lies must be undone, becoming an EU member state once again has to happen for the UK to prosper, share strategic data with allied partners, re-enter key EU programmes and undo what was done that has limited growth capacity.
All politicians must be held accountable for their lies, any politician who lies must not be allowed to get away with it like Farage and Johnson have. If they lie, and it's uncovered, they are barred from positions of power.

Referenda are ADVISORY ONLY in UK, they are an opinion poll. The whole mess was created by a scabby little pm deciding to curcumvent the law and set up an advisory referendum and deciding to annoynxe he was abrogating all redponsibility and illegally making it auto implemented. Parliament changes the law. You do not ram raid a bank to restore it's security after a ram raid. No CAMERON SHOULD BE TRIED CONVICTED AND JAILED FOR BREAKING THE LAW,AND COMMITTING TREASON. An election with rejoin in the manifesto is the right tool.
We left the EU not only in falsehoods but on a total vote LESS than the half if possible voters!
To me for those reasons we should NOT have left.
But going back in now would be just as big a disaster. We must not go back into it fully.
But, yes let’s get closer ties whilst not getting fully back in. That I do agree with.
The reason why we must stay out is keeping our control over money. We need to take control of it. Because any economy needs three basic components.
The first is being a currency issuer. The second is producing SUFFICIENT MONEY to do the job. Enough money must be SPENT into our economy by GOVERNMENT.
And the third component is SPENDING.
Without these we can’t ever control the economy and our economy can’t ever work!
We all need to rely on the SPENDING of others to give us our money.
We all trigger taxes by SPENDING MONEY even INCOME TAXES.
It’s the act of SPENDING money that triggers tax. Like Employers SPENDING on the wages and taxes of the Employee.
It’s NOT the act of work that triggers tax. No amount of work triggers tax without money changing hands by choice need or decree.
We know SPENDING MONEY triggers tax because NOT SPENDING MONEY TRIGGERS NO TAX WHATSOEVER.
So it’s obvious to me, that our economy needs more of the money that’s not being spent every month to be finally SPENT instead of unspent.
That’s the vast pot of money that prevents our economy to be doubly hog tied.
It stood money teaching others and it stops tax being triggered. This is the reason why we are not firing on all cylinders and why we constantly get deficits instead of surpluses.
If more of that unspent money is rotated it automatically triggers tax.
So there is the answer to the stagnation.
Ironically if money gets spent more often and in more weight we all earn more and trigger more tax take. But in so doing overall tax rates can drop! Yes we get more and pay more tax even the rich get richer. Just by spending money do they earn more money from others. They get richer from stuff bought than holding money itself.
We earn more and borrow less. So will our government.
So that’s why we must not go back into EU. We just need to control money rather than let the banks control it by filling our economy with debt instead of freely spent unindented money.

No one knows what closer alignment means because it depends on negotiation.
Will it be deemed better to be an EEA member or an Associate member?
