I don't understand why the UK isn't investing in geothermal energy. We live on a hot planet. You don't have to live in a volcanic zone like Iceland to harvest geothermal energy. It doesn't switch off when the sun goes down or the wind stops blowing and if you want to redeploy oil workers from drilling oil wells they can drill geothermal wells.

It really is a no-brainer. Farridge, the Tories, and their backers want to drag us backwards to the dinosaur fossil (fuel) era.
Difficult position but lets see how he gets on.
