Why we're shining a light on Black stories this month. Plus: The latest from Reform Watch, and everything our team is reading, watching and listening to this week.
I love the idea of more black and Asian people enjoying the countryside and am surprised (probably wrongly) to find that they're not more welcomed. Anything that normalises seeing more people from ethinic minorities out on walks is great. On the other hand, I followed the link to the previous article and that guy who plays his music, apparently loud enough to disturb other walkers...he needs to have more consideration. It's the equivalent of someone white (or any colour) yelling 'I'M ON THE TRAIN' or taking a mobile call on speaker in a crowded place. It's not people being racist; it's just a call for consideration. Everyone of any background needs to think about how their behaviour is affecting others.
