Interesting analysis of danger of Labour voters defecting to Lib Dem, but I don't think that is likely to be a problem. The level of Labour/Lib Dem tactical voting at 2024 General Election was very high and will probably be so again in 2029 - at the expense of the Tories. The problem for Labour - and for the Lib Dems - is that the Tory/Reform share of the vote remains stubbornly high, as people switch from Farage mainly to Tory. The Lib Dems need to get their act together in Tory shire constituencies, and we need to get our act together in Red Wall seats - that doesn't mean pandering to the Tory/Reform agenda, it means promoting an enthusiastic alternative to it.
